Project Background
OMS Infrastructure Services, LLC (OMS IS) were engaged by our client to act as owner’s agent to oversee an a city flood control project. The project consisted of creation of a flood control channel, gabion walls, flood control basin and culvert improvements to pass 100-year storm events.
Scope
OMS IS provided owner’s agent project management, construction management and engineering services. OMS IS also provided, safety, audit, project controls, and technical services in support of owner interests. OMS IS assigned a Project Manager to represent owner interests. The project manager also served as a construction manager to assure that required design, construction, compliance, field engineering and red-line drawings were conducted in a manner consistent with city specifications and contract requirements. OMS IS project manager also assessed field change orders and made recommendations to the client. The project was completed on time, on schedule and within budget.
