Jon Amdur

Senior Industry Advisor

Jon Amdur serves as a Senior Industry Advisor for OMS Consulting Services. He brings four decades of industry and consulting experience across the US on high profile environmental issues related to contaminated sediment management, shoreline and maritime development, marine terminal and railroad infrastructure projects. He has managed the permitting and construction of hundreds of millions of cubic yards of dredging, including significant volumes of contaminated sediments, as a consultant, a project manager and as a regulator. Jon has managed the three quarter of a billion-dollar Maritime Capital Improvement Program for the Port of Oakland which included dredging, terminal construction, and new rail facilities.

Jon is expert on developing realistic, cost-effective and time sensitive approaches to project development.

Jon currently resides in Colorado, providing easy access to sites throughout the US. He enjoys hiking, trail running and spends time mentoring youth in STEM, coaching Football as well as Track and Field.​
